Affordable Healthcare Act Seminar
The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding an informational seminar entitled The Affordable Care Act – What Should Employers be Doing Now? on Wednesday, September 10, at Harvest Market Café.
Featured speaker Steve Nepstad, Human Resources Consultant at Richards Benefits & Financial Services, will give employers up-to-date information on ACA requirements for year-end 2014 and the year 2015. Covered topics will include: a compliance checklist for all employers, the new enforcement environment, updating Summary Plan Descriptions, and more.
The event is open to both Chamber members and non-members. Doors open at 7:30am, program begins at 8:00am, with prepared remarks followed by a question and answer session. A light breakfast will be served.
The seminar is free to Chamber members, and $5 per person for non-members. Reservations are required by Wednesday, September 3rd. Payment for non-members must accompany reservation. Reservations can be made at the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce office located at 519 E. Main Street or by calling 920-261-6320.
